ULTRATHERM HEATING STRIPS

The heating strip consists of a connected heating foil to be placed below the terrarium or on one side of it to create the ideal thermic conditions for the animal (reptiles, rodents, …). The infrared heat of large wavelength is similar to the sun radiation and recreates for the reptiles that absorb it, conditions similar to its natural living environment. The foil provides a gentle heat flow allowing the animal to stand below/over the heating element.

For most of the species, the heating strips are ideal as the unique heat source even for animals that need heating during nighttime as they don’t emit any visible light.

They are available in two different widths and various lengths to heat up the whole surface, or only one part of the terrarium, to create a temperature gradient, as required by some type of reptiles and to offer the possibility to breeders to heat more than one terrarium with only one strip.

• Viv Mat: 27 cm wide with a length from 14 to 119 cm, ideal to heat the whole terrarium (tortoises, lizards and small rodents).
• Viv Strip: Narrower (15cm) with a length from 14 to 119 cm, ideal for reptiles breeders.
• Happy Hamster: With a more square shape, mainly intended for rodents breeders.

Ultratherm radiant panels:

The Ultratherm radiant panels are similar to low temperature panels intended for residential heating, and take advantage of the infrared radiant principle. They are intended to localized heating and heating of breeding areas, large terrariums or dog kennel.

They are equipped with a thermofuse to avoid overheating of the panel. They can be installed both vertically and horizontally. In the second case, an optional ceiling fixing frame is available.

Ceramic heating bulbs:

The ceramic heating bulbs use also the principle of infra-red radiation. They reproduce the sun’s heat radiation and thus create conditions close to those in the natural environment. The range, intensity and direction of the heat flow can be increased using an aluminum reflector.

Regulation Ultratherm:

The regulation of those products can be realized through the Ultratherm “Terra-heat” thermostat for a control of both the air and soil temperature. It provides a good sensibility to suit the need of animal species very sensitive to temperature variations.
